Versatile and Durable Rollers for Modular Systems and Heavy-Duty Transportation

The general characteristics of the 135 series correspond to those of the 117 series, and the series is perfectly interchangeable with the 138 series, which is comprised of friction rollers. These three roller families allow for the creation of an extremely wide range of application combinations, offer the utmost flexibility in package transportation, and are perfect for the construction of modular systems. The most common tube construction is in galvanised steel or special impact-resistant and noise-absorbing PVC. Versions with a steel pinion must have a tube in the same material The steel shaft is usually drilled and threaded, an option studied for medium to heavy loads and ideal for obtaining a rigid overall structure. The polyamide end caps house permanently lubricated shielded 2RZ radial ball bearings. Protection from external agents is further guaranteed by a labyrinth cover in polypropylene. Pinions and pulleys, also generally in polyamide, are particularly resistant to wear and stress, and can be fixed with a particular coupling system in the element at the end of the tube or inserted directed into the tube itself. They can be easily substituted with those from the 138 series, easily modifying driven conveyors in accumulation lanes. Steel pinions are available on request, and in this case a coupled construction, completely interchangeable with polyamide pinions, is available, as well as a construction with the pinion welded directly to one end of the tube.

When constructed with a tube in PVC or AISI 304 stainless steel, combined with bearings and shaft in stainless steel, these rollers are ideal for installation in humid or corrosive environments and in food-related applications. The particular shape of the end caps, the precise couplings and the type of bearing used make them particularly sturdy and also applicable for support and/or belt transmission.
